Academic Achievement for K-8
Academic Achievement
-
Credentialed teachers assess each student’s skills, review test scores, and identify learning gaps using a detailed skills matrix. From there, they coordinate with tutors and classroom aides to provide targeted, one-on-one support. Many of these educators are seasoned professionals, including retired teachers, who are passionate about helping children succeed.
-
Students receive ongoing academic support, including a summer program that strengthens math and language skills and prepares them for the year ahead. High-achieving students are also connected to private school opportunities and scholarship pathways through trusted partnerships.

Our team walks alongside families to ensure every child receives the support they need. We help parents attend teacher conferences, meet with school leaders, and advocate for placements that fit each child’s strengths. This hands-on approach helps families navigate complex school systems and ensures students are supported both inside and outside the classroom.
Nearly half of our students attend Rocketship Charter Schools. While every school measures growth a bit differently, our focus is on how students are progressing over time—especially those starting with the most challenges.
Student Overview & Progress
Among 17 Rocketship students, 7 began in the lowest achievement tier (bottom 20%) compared to Rocketship students nationwide. What’s encouraging is that a clear trend emerged: many of these students moved into higher achievement levels, showing steady progress and academic growth.
